Telemedicine services have become a reality after the last pandemic.

In some cases, like lack or loss of prescriptions from origin, or some kind of pathologies which doesn’t need an comprehensive physical examination, the telemedicine application method could be very useful, as it is much quicker and less expensive for the patient.

Our registered doctors can perform telemedicine and make telematic prescriptions valid in all the Spanish territory through the REMPe system.

How it works:

If it is considered that a telematic consultation is possible, we request the patient to fill the GDPR Consent form.

After that, we can coordinate a time for the video-conference or phone call.

A payment link will be sent from a secure server platform from the bank. Once the payment is made, it’s possible to procced with the telematic consultation.

Once one of our doctors makes the tele-consultation and evaluates your case.

If prescriptions are needed, after the doctor finishes making them (normally a couple of minutes after the payment is done), they are sent to your email in an attached PDF file with a QR code, valid in all Spain through the REMPe platform.

Note: You don’t need to download any App The PDF with the QR code is enough for most pharmacies to provide the prescribed medications. It’s important though, that you take to the pharmacy the patient’s ID.

In the case that the doctor considers that you need to go to a hospital for further evaluation or tests (blood tests, image tests, etc.), we can indicate the closest and more convenient options, depending on your case and location.

In the case of prescriptions for medication (lost or finished):

The form will take around five minutes, and our doctor will review your request the same day, and may call or email to confirm a clinical detail before deciding.

What we need:

1) Identity: A photo of your ID (Passport, DNI, or NIE). Required for the prescription.

2) Medication: The name and strength. A photo of the box or a recent prescription. The NHS app usually has this.

3) About you: Date of birth and address, plus any current medication, allergies, or relevant medical history.

When a home visit is made, or in the case of telematic consultations, we use the Paygold system from Redsys, where you can pay with your credit/debit card in a secure way.

In these cases, a payment link will be sent to your email from a secure server platform from the bank.

You just need to follow some simple steps there, as in any internet payment case is done.

Sometimes some credit cards/ banks need a confirmation by SMS, so it’s important that the patient knows how his/her card works with his bank, his PIN number, and have a connection to a phone network.

This is the only remote payment way we accept (we don’t use paypal or bank transfers).
